HALO Precision Diagnostics in Lafayette, LA, is seeking a Patient Navigator (Patient Support & Phlebotomy) to guide patients through hereditary cancer genetic testing, provide education, and coordinate care within a multidisciplinary team.

The role combines patient education, phlebotomy support, and care coordination, with a focus on delivering an exceptional patient experience and HIPAA-compliant documentation.

Qualifications

• Nationally certified phlebotomist with strong venipuncture skills.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience (front office or back office).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience with insurance verification and prior authorizations.
• Current BLS certification.
• Experience with diagnostic or genetic specimen collection and HIPAA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Guide patients through the hereditary cancer genetic testing process from start to finish.
• Provide education on testing, procedures, and next steps.
• Serve as the primary patient contact to ensure a supportive and informed experience.
• Coordinate scheduling, specimen collection, and follow-up with patients and partners.
