Job summary

Intermountain Healthcare Inc. seeks a Registered Dietitian to lead the Patient Services team within Culinary Services at Saint Joseph Hospital. You will oversee daily meal operations, partner with nursing on education, and ensure strict dietary compliance and safety standards are met. This role drives quality, cost-effective care and staff development.

Responsibilities include HR functions, training, performance management, and ongoing quality improvement initiatives in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Service, Dietetics, Nutrition or Management required.
• Registered Dietitian certification required within 6 months of hire.
• ServSafe or Food Handler certification per state requirements (Utah/Idaho noted in states mentioned).

Responsibilities

• Manages daily operations of patient meal services.
• Partners with nursing to educate and ensure guidelines are followed.
• Leads patient meal areas and ensures diets follow provider orders.
• Implements clinical best practices for cost-effective, high-quality care.
• Manages HR functions including hiring, training, and performance management.
• Ensures food safety standards and regulatory compliance.
• Monitors quality and satisfaction metrics; collaborates with system-level Directors.
