Job summary

Aramark in Temple, Texas is seeking a Dietary Worker to support patients by taking menu orders over the phone and via software, coordinating with the Food & Nutrition team to ensure accurate meal service.

This is a fast-paced role that requires calm, friendly customer service, strong communication, and use of web-based software. You will work with doctors, nurses, and the team while maintaining patient privacy and upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service and/or call center experience preferred.
• Experience in food service, as a dietary clerk, or in a related field preferred.
• Needs to communicate fluently in English; bilingual a plus.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Comfort with using technology including web-based software and telephone headset; typing 35-45 wpm.
• Must be flexible and adaptable to change.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones, take menu orders, and direct calls related to meals or nutritional needs.
• Use software to record patient orders.
• Maintain knowledge of therapeutic diets to ensure accurate meal orders.
• Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and the Food & Nutrition team for accurate nutrition.
• Maintain privacy, safety, and dignity of each customer and adhere to safety standards.
• Comply with ARAMARK's standards and confidentiality policies.
