Qualifications

• Basic knowledge in food service within a hospital, hotel, restaurant, or related environment.
• Ability to read and understand written and oral communications.
• Good communication and customer service skills to interact with internal and external customers.
• Intermediate computer skills; ability to use e-mail and internet.

Responsabilités

• Assembles patient meals per diet guidelines and portions while meeting productivity standards.
• Delivers patient meal trays to rooms according to procedures.
• Operates cafeteria cash registers; handles cash and daily reports.
• Performs kitchen and cafeteria sanitation duties and washes dishes as required.
• Assists with catering events, decorations, and daily specials presentation.
• Prepares snacks, beverages, sandwiches, and other items per standardized recipes.
• Stock shelves and prepare entrees, salads, and garnishes; replenish service areas.
• Ensures safe food handling and monitors temperatures to prevent foodborne illness.
