Job summary

LifeCare Medical Center in Roseau, MN is seeking an Intake Coordinator to register patients into the EMR, verify insurance data, and coordinate timely rehabilitation service scheduling. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• General Educational Development or better in General Studies.

Responsibilities

• Register patients into the Electronic Medical Record with accurate insurance information.
• Verify patient data and insurance details regularly.
• Obtain insurance authorization and schedule appointments when approved.
• Communicate with patients and providers to ensure timely scheduling.
• Update scheduling changes for patients and providers.
• Greet patients and provide arrival notification to staff.
• Register community gym members in the LifeCare Rehabilitation Services system and collect initial and monthly dues.
• Complete weekly department task checklist for safety and cleanliness.
