LifeCare Medical Center in Roseau, MN seeks a Patient Access Representative to register and schedule patients, verify demographics and insurance, and guide patients through Epic. The role includes evening coverage and weekend shifts and offers a comprehensive benefits package.

You’ll work with ED, Lab, and Imaging teams to ensure smooth patient flow, while upholding compassion, accuracy, and patient-first service in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in patient access or medical office settings is preferred.
• Ability to verify demographics and insurance information.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
• Comfort with Epic or similar electronic health records is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet and guide patients and visitors in a courteous manner.
• Register patients with correct identity and verify information.
• Schedule appointments and check in patients.
• Obtain patient consent for treatment.
• Scan forms into the system and maintain records.
• Coordinate with ED, Lab, and Imaging for services.
• Monitor access during the night shift (11pm-7am).
• Maintain cleanliness of admitting area and public spaces.
