Greeley County Family Practice in Tribune, Kansas, is seeking a detail-oriented Registration Clerk to join our clinic team. You will greet patients, collect and verify personal and insurance information, and ensure accurate data entry into the EMR to support timely billing.

As the first point of contact for patients and families, you will coordinate scheduling, assist with check-in, and help maintain smooth patient flow.

Responsibilities

• Greet, direct patients and visitors in person or on the phone with professionalism and exemplary customer service.
• Communicate effectively with patients to schedule, confirm, reschedule, or cancel appointments. Utilize available software to optimize patient visits, appointment organization, and efficiency.
• Maintain accurate and updated schedules by communicating and collaborating with the clinic director and controller to stay up to date on provider availability to ensure accurate scheduling and rescheduling needs when necessary.
• Implement and adhere to policies and procedures for scheduling and late arrivals.
• Facilitate patient registration and/or check-in by verifying appointment type, time, and provider. Collect detailed and necessary contact, demographic, and insurance information to input and/or verify in the EMR accurately.
• Verify insurance eligibility and document in the EMR accurately.
• Obtain necessary forms and consents at the time of registration prior to appointment
• Collect copayments and coinsurance payments at the time of registration prior to appointment.
