Job summary

Noble Community Clinics in Manitowoc, WI is seeking a Patient Intake Coordinator to support registration, financial screening, and insurance verification. You will ensure accurate data in the EHR and help patients access Medicaid, marketplace programs, and financial assistance.

Responsibilities

• Review financial options and resources with patients.
• Complete and renew Sliding Fee Scale applications.
• Assist enrollment in Medicaid and Marketplace programs.
• Identify patients needing financial assistance and refer to Financial Advocate.
• Check in patients for scheduled appointments.
• Review patient paperwork for accuracy and completeness.
• Verify and update patient demographics and insurance information.
• Enter and maintain accurate patient information in the EHR.
• Ensure required UDS data is entered into the EHR.
• Receive and process patient copayments and other payments.
• Provide front-desk responsibilities and customer service.
• Monitor patient flow and greet/assist patients.
• Follow established workflows.
• Support quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate and complete patient charts.
• Scan and upload updated patient documents into the EHR.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.

Education

High School Diploma or GED

Certified Application Counselor (CAC) certification

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
