Job summary

Noble Community Clinics is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join our patient-centered care team at our Manitowoc or Sheboygan clinics. This full-time position supports providers, manages routine clinical tasks, and helps maintain a welcoming environment for a diverse patient population.

You will assist with exams, procedures, immunizations, and EMR documentation, while upholding HIPAA and safety standards in a fast-paced community health setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Medical Assistant Certification.
• CPR/BLS Certification required.
• 1+ years of experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Knowledge of EMR, medical terminology, medications, immunizations, phlebotomy and lab preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for exams by taking vital signs, recording medical history, and updating patient charts.
• Document patient information in the EMR following best practice standards including HIPAA compliance.
• Assist providers with examinations, treatments, and minor procedures.
• Perform basic laboratory tests and collect/prep specimens for analysis.
• Administer injectable medications and immunizations as ordered by Provider.
• Immunization ordering, tracking, and daily inventory monitoring in adherence with program requirements.
• Educate patients on follow-up care, procedures, and treatments.
• Maintain exam rooms, supplies, and medical equipment to ensure a clean, safe environment.
• Assist with scheduling, referrals, and EMR documentation (Epic preferred).
• Triage patient calls and provide backup support at the front desk when needed.
• Ensure compliance with clinical protocols, safety standards, and patient confidentiality regulations.
