Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush, LLC in Naperville, IL is seeking a full-time Office Coordinator to join our rehabilitation team. The role serves as the liaison between MOR and patients, coordinating communications with clinicians, insurance, billing, and work comp adjusters.

The candidate will provide professional, friendly, and compassionate service to patients and staff, supporting daily clinic operations and ensuring HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Front desk knowledge and experience required, preferably in PT clinic.
• Strong background in providing excellent customer service skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of healthcare insurance benefits and coverage preferred.
• Work well in a team atmosphere and have a strong sense of leadership skills.
• Enjoy interacting with people.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, answer phones, schedule appointments, processing authorizations and verifications, and recordkeeping.
• Maintain inventory level of supplies to support treatment and office duties.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Ensure clinic cleanliness and safety.
• Process, distribute, and track documentation for physicians.
• Attend to incoming calls and respond to inquiries promptly.
• Coordinate communication of patient progress to physicians, nurse case managers, adjusters and attorneys.
• Support the Facility Manager with daily clinic operations.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.
