Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush seeks a full-time Office Coordinator to float among outpatient clinics in River Grove, North Riverside, Bensenville and Park Ridge, IL. You will perform front desk tasks, schedule appointments, process authorizations, and maintain patient records with a professional, friendly approach.

The role requires high school diploma, front desk experience, excellent customer service, Microsoft Office proficiency, and knowledge of healthcare benefits.

Qualifications

• Front desk knowledge and experience required, preferably in PT clinic.
• Strong background in providing excellent customer service skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of healthcare insurance benefits and coverage preferred.
• Work well in a team atmosphere and have strong leadership skills.
• Enjoy interacting with people.

Responsibilities

• Professionally greets patients, answering phones, scheduling appointments, completing administrative processing and records.
• Maintain inventory of supplies to efficiently aid treatment and office duties.
• Maintain patient confidentiality per HIPAA and company policies.
• Ensure clinic cleanliness and safety.
• Process documents for physicians and signatures in a timely manner.
• Handle incoming calls and assist with patient inquiries.
• Process patient payments and manage cancellations/rescheduling.
• Support daily clinic operations and equipment maintenance.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses and staff to coordinate patient progress.
