Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; healthcare admin certs are a plus.
• Previous experience in medical/healthcare receptionist roles preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, professional, empathetic communication.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Proficiency with EHR systems and Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance procedures is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients with a warm, professional demeanor.
• Schedule patient appointments with coordination across clinical staff.
• Collect and verify patient information, insurance, and medical history.
• Check-in/check-out duties, payments, and insurance processing with receipts.
• Answer calls and emails; address inquiries professionally.
• Maintain organized patient records and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Assist with authorizations or referrals as needed.
• Support general office tasks and keep reception area orderly.
