Trinity Health IHA Medical Group is looking for a medical receptionist who will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors. You will help create a positive experience while supporting efficient office operations and exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities include welcoming patients, verifying registrations and insurance, scheduling appointments, answering phones, assisting with billing, MyChart support, and maintaining accurate records in a busy outpatient setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent work history.
• 1-2 years in medical office or customer service preferred.
• No licensure required.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and visitors with professionalism and compassion.
• Check in patients, verify registration and insurance information.
• Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments.
• Answer phones and route messages appropriately.
• Collect payments and support accurate billing processes.
• Assist with MyChart support and patient communications.
• Maintain patient records and day-to-day office operations.
• Collaborate with providers and staff for a smooth patient experience.
