Puget Sound Pain Clinic is seeking a Medical Receptionist for our Tukwila Ambulatory Surgery Center location. Schedule typically 7:00 AM–6:00 PM, Monday–Thursday, with weekends, holidays and evenings off.

Pay is $22.00–$25.00 per hour, based on experience. Responsibilities include greeting patients, scheduling appointments, check-in/out, collecting co-pays, verifying insurance, answering calls, and maintaining patient records.

Responsabilités

• Greet patients and visitors in a prompt, courteous, and professional manner
• Schedule new and existing patient appointments
• Check patients in and out and collect co-pays
• Verify and update patient insurance and demographic information
• Answer, screen, and direct telephone calls; take messages and provide information
• Contact patients regarding missed appointments and pre-operative appointments
• Maintain accurate and organized patient records and paperwork
• Scan, file, and process medical documents
• Maintain a clean, neat, and organized reception area and lobby
• Protect patient privacy and maintain strict confidentiality
• Assist with other administrative and front-office duties as needed
