Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program, or 2 years of MA experience in the last 5 years.
• Certifications in drug screening, alcohol testing, CAOHC and NIOSH are a plus (may be obtained after hire).

Responsibilities

• Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and health screenings.
• Prepare patients for exams and assist providers during procedures.
• Administer medications and vaccines as directed.
• Document care in the electronic health record accurately.
• Collaborate with physicians and nurses to deliver coordinated care.
• Provide efficient, high‑quality service to patients at appointments or by phone.
