Advocate Medical Group is seeking a part-time Medical Assistant/Patient Service Representative in Skokie, IL. This role supports the care team with vital clinical and administrative tasks while upholding patient safety and confidentiality.

The position requires a High School Diploma or MA program completion (or 2 years MA experience). Certifications in CAOHC/NISOH are a plus; 20 hours per week, with some travel to other occupational health locations as needed.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or 2 years of verifiable MA experience within the last 5 years.
• Certifications in drug screening, alcohol testing (CAOHC/NISOH) are a plus and may be obtained after hire.

Responsabilidades

• Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and health screenings.
• Prepare patients for exams and assist providers during procedures.
• Administer medications and vaccines as directed.
• Document care accurately in the electronic health record.
• Partner with physicians, nurses, and teammates to deliver high-quality, coordinated care.
• Provide efficient, high-quality service to patients arriving for appointments or requesting information.
