Advocate Health in Skokie, IL is seeking a part-time Medical Assistant/Patient Service Representative to support the care team with clinical and administrative tasks, ensuring patient safety and confidentiality. The role requires a high school diploma or GED and completion of an accredited MA program (or 2 years relevant experience).

Schedule is Monday–Friday with 7:45am–5:30pm, 20 hours per week; travel to other occupational health locations may be required.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or 2 years of verifiable full-time MA experience in the last 5 years.
• Certifications in drug screening, alcohol testing (CAOHC/NISOH) are a plus; may be obtained after hire.
• 1–2 years of related customer service experience.

Responsabilidades

• Take and record vital signs, medical histories and health screenings.
• Prepare patients for exams and assist providers during procedures.
• Administer medications and vaccines as directed.
• Document care in the electronic health record accurately.
• Work with physicians, nurses and teammates to deliver high-quality coordinated care.
• Provide efficient service to patients arriving for appointments or seeking information.
