Qualifications

• Medical office experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively and courteously with patients, physicians and staff, insurance representatives and supervisors.
• Greet and register patients in a timely, professional, and customer-focused manner.
• Schedule patients for services within established guidelines.
• Generate and maintain accurate medical records.
• Explain clinic policies, procedures, and billing processes to patients and direct them appropriately.
• Track and obtain ongoing insurance verification and authorization information from payers and share with the team.
• Collect patient co-payments, co-insurance, deductibles, and related fees.
• Respond to requests for information according to established procedures.
• Maintain the cash drawer system according to established procedures.
• Maintain office and facility inventory and order supplies as needed.
• Attend and participate in clinic meetings and training programs.
• Participate in performance improvement activities and adhere to HIPAA and compliance policies.
• Perform other duties as requested.
