Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, families, and staff.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus and helpful in diverse patient populations.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and visitors by greeting them in person or on the telephone; answering inquiries or referring to the appropriate person.
• Schedule patient appointments and check in/out to optimize satisfaction and room utilization.
• Maintain patient accounts by recording demographics and insurance information accurately.
• Follow up on outpatient referrals and surgical referrals; communicate with pre-cert team as needed.
• Perform daily task audits and ensure accuracy in documentation.
