Job summary

Regions Hospital is seeking a Patient Placement Manager to lead the Centralized Hospital Operations team in Bloomington, MN. Under the CHO Director, you will direct, plan, coordinate and supervise patient placement activities, establish standards of care and guide staff development, environmental, HR and fiscal management.

The role focuses on leading enterprise patient placement operations and daily flow management, recruiting and retaining a qualified workforce, driving throughput improvement

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or AD in Nursing with related bachelor's degree.
• Minimum five years in hospital patient flow or capacity management.
• Minimum two years of leadership or supervisory experience in a complex healthcare environment.
• Demonstrated experience leading operational improvement initiatives and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise patient placement operations and daily flow management.
• Recruit, manage and retain a qualified workforce for patient placement and service needs.
• Provide leadership for patient flow and throughput improvement initiatives.
• Maintain operational knowledge of patient placement practices and system capabilities.
• Develop, monitor and modify the budget while managing daily operations within the budget.
