Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Must complete Orlando Health medical terminology course within 90 days of hire.
• One (1) year of retail, customer service or health care.
• Computer experience required.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, reschedule and cancel single or multiple tests/procedures with physicians and departments.
• Provide accurate information to expedite patient preparation, arrival location and time.
• Demonstrate excellent telephone etiquette and professional communication.
• Maintain knowledge of ICD-9/ICD-10 and CPT codes as needed.
• Identify and resolve customer service issues and follow up as necessary.
