Formación

• High school diploma required.
• 2–3 years experience in a medical office or healthcare facility preferred.
• Customer focus with strong oral communication and telephone skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality of work.
• Willing to work a 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. position, Monday through Friday, with some flexibility.

Responsabilidades

• Check in, check out, schedule and runner on a rotational basis.
• Greet patients and visitors in a warm, welcoming manner.
• Ensure registration forms are complete and up to date; update patient accounts as needed.
• Pull and prep medical charts; attach reports or correspondence as needed.
• Answer phone calls and route inquiries; balance out at end of day.
• Arrange servicing for front office equipment; destroy PHI as required.
• Assist others during high-volume periods; maintain HIPAA compliance.
• Attend staff meetings; arrive on time; rotate late-night and Saturday hours as needed.
