Job summary

Ayr Wellness is seeking a Dispensary Technician in Ohio to deliver exceptional patient experiences in a fast-paced retail setting.

You will assist patients, explain product benefits, process transactions, and help maintain accurate records and inventory while upholding compliance.

Required: 1–3 years in retail or customer service, high school diploma, 21+ age, and cash handling; strong communication and reliability; ability to work varied shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years of age and able to pass background checks.
• Experience with cash handling and POS/inventory control systems.
• Strong communication and exceptional customer service mindset.
• Ability to coordinate and problem solve in a professional manner.
• Experience in high-volume retail environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide knowledge, guidance, and a personalized experience to each patient by explaining potential benefits of the cannabis products offered.
• Ensure patient questions or concerns are resolved quickly and completely; communicate requests to management as needed.
• Oversee patient intake, maintain accurate records, and handle confidential information appropriately.
• Process and fulfill patient orders using the POS and inventory systems in compliance with policies.
• Maintain a clean, stocked, and welcoming dispensary environment with a patient-first attitude.
• Follow compliance practices and prevent diversion of medical cannabis to unauthorized individuals.
• Assist in daily inventory counts and floor stock management.
