Job summary

Ayr Wellness is seeking a Dispensary Technician to deliver exceptional patient experiences at our Pennsylvania location. The role emphasizes accurate cash handling, POS/inventory proficiency, and maintaining a compliant, welcoming environment for medical patients and adult-use consumers.

Responsibilities include assisting with patient intake, processing orders, and keeping the dispensary clean and well-stocked while following all state regulations and company policies.

Qualifications

• Basic math, computer, and cash handling skills are required.
• Ability to coordinate and solve problems professionally.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Able to pass all background checks.
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
• Experience with cash handling and POS/inventory control systems.
• Prior experience in a high-volume retail environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide knowledge and a personalized experience to patients about cannabis products.
• Resolve patient questions quickly and escalate to management as needed.
• Oversee patient intake and maintain patient records and confidentiality.
• Process and fulfill patient orders using POS and inventory systems in compliance with policies.
• Keep the dispensary stocked, clean, and organized while prioritizing patient needs.
• Follow compliance practices to prevent diversion of medical cannabis.
• Assist in daily inventory counts and floor stock management.
• Foster a positive work environment and professional patient interactions.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Ensure a stress-free and helpful patient experience.
