Banner Health Fort Collins is seeking a Front Desk Representative in Patient Financial Services to join a multi-specialty clinic team. You will interact with patients, collect insurance details, verify coverage, and guide patients through financial options.

Primary hours are weekday days with occasional float to other clinics to cover staffing needs. The role emphasizes accurate data entry, careful handling of payments, and collaboration with physicians and staff to ensure smooth patient flow

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year of experience in patient financial services, finance, collections or insurance processes.
• Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.

Mansioni

• Register/check-in patients, collect required signatures and intake forms.
• Verify insurance benefits and assist with pre-certifications and authorizations.
• Calculate and collect patient liability and explain financial policies.
• Enter payments and reconcile daily transactions; balance cash drawer.
• Schedule appointments and optimize patient flow according to payor rules.
• Respond to patient inquiries via phone, email or in person.
• Process requests for medical records in line with policy and law.
• Provide a range of front-desk patient services to support flow.
