Responsibilities

• Develop staff job descriptions and evaluate performance.
• Inform Director regularly of issues and recommendations for improvement.
• Develop and implement customer service initiative in the Patient Accounting/Collections department.
• Manage ARCTR Credit Balance Report and Budget Plan Reports.
• Correct Patient Accounting errors and communicate remediation steps.
• Supervise Patient Reps and Self-Pay collectors; handle overflow of calls.
• Manage refunds; approve refunds and resolve issues.
• Maintain collections requirements and budget plans.
• Assist staff with problems, issues, or concerns; respond within 48 hours.
