You will serve as the primary contact for patients discussing outstanding statements and inquiries, providing accurate billing support across insurance, coding, registration, and financial assistance.

Qualifications

• Customer service, call center or collections experience preferred.
• No formal education required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and resolve high volumes of accounts for Essentia Health services.
• Act as the primary contact for patients to discuss outstanding statements and inquiries.
• Provide support for insurance, coding, registration, and financial assistance to resolve billing issues.
• Provide financial assistance via face-to-face communication and over the telephone.
• Perform routine account analysis to evaluate and resolve financial responsibilities with patients.
• Follow up on delinquent accounts and arrange payment plans.
• Handle incoming patient mail and respond to inquiries via written communication.
• Experience with cash payments, self-pay collections and exceptional customer service required.
• Knowledge of office equipment and billing programs.
