Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years work experience with Social Services or Hospital Admitting or related area.
• Bi-lingual preferred (Spanish).
• P/C systems literacy including Windows, and Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word programs.

Responsibilities

• Interviews patients and/or family members.
• Records and maintains complete documentation of activities on account.
• Performs financial clearance including collections and prepares accounts for Financial Assistance review.
• Follow-ups on government applications to ensure eligibility and timely processing.
• Conducts field visits to assist patients with documents and skip tracing as needed.
• Notifies hospital staff of case screening determinations and outcomes.
