Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provides exceptional customer service and ensures questions are addressed in a timely manner.
• May guide the patient to appropriate destination for services.
• Collects patient out-of-pocket responsibility per collection guidelines.
• Provides patient estimates as requested.
• Prepares and balances daily deposits of all payment collections.
• May schedule walk-in appointments for services offered.
• Interviews patients and guarantors to obtain necessary information and IDs.
• May confirm physician and prescription orders ensuring accuracy.
• May perform patient discharge tasks including after-visit summaries and referrals.
• Explains policies and secures signatures for regulatory forms.
• Verifies insurance benefits and coverage, and determines filing order.
• Obtains pre-certification and authorization.
