Responsibilities

• Collect patient out-of-pocket responsibilities per collection guidelines; provide estimates.
• Prepare and balance daily deposits and maintain accurate records.
• Explain policies and secure signatures for notices and consent forms.
• Verify insurance benefits, obtain authorizations, and determine filing order for multiple coverages.
• Schedule appointments and referrals; assist with discharge tasks and AVS review.
