• Obtain and document funding information and available funding sources.
• Educate patients on hospital payment policies and options.
• Coordinate with revenue cycle and other departments to resolve funding barriers.
• Perform up-front collection on self-pay accounts, co-pays, deductibles, and co-insurance.
