Job summary

Palomar Health seeks a Patient Access/Financial Services representative to be the first contact for patients and families regarding funding sources for inpatient and outpatient services. You will manage day-to-day funding activities, including pre-registration, registration, and post-registration, and educate referring physicians’ offices on payment options.

You will screen admissions, secure upfront payments, co-pays, and deductibles; collaborate with the revenue cycle team to resolve barriers

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Healthcare-related coursework or experience is a plus.
• Bilingual Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Screen admissions daily and educate on funding options.
• Obtain upfront payments, co-pays, and eligibility information.
• Collaborate with revenue cycle and assist with MediCal/CMS/CCS eligibility.
