Responsibilities

• Obtains, reviews, and maintains patient insurance information for accuracy and timely updates.
• Coordinates and secures required insurance authorizations, referrals, and approvals.
• Counsels patients and families on insurance coverage, financial responsibility, and billing inquiries.
• Serves as liaison between patients, payors, clinical teams and internal stakeholders.
• Monitors insurance eligibility, communicates updates to care team, and addresses coverage concerns.
• Coordinates patient scheduling with initial evaluations and financial/insurance clearances.
