The role emphasizes customer service and accurate financial assistance processing. The position requires handling aging balances, explaining benefits, and coordinating charitable support, with a full-time daytime schedule (Mon-Fri).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate's degree in business management or finance preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, autonomous environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain patient balances; assist with billing, insurance questions, and payment plans.
• Review explanations of benefits and remittance advice with patients.
• Identify patients needing charity assistance and coordinate the application process.
• Coordinate bad debt accounts with outside vendors to ensure proper placement.
• Adhere to Corporate Compliance and promote compliant billing practices.
• Communicate clearly with patients, providers, and management regarding financial issues.
