IVIRMA Global in Brookline, MA, is seeking a Patient Financial Coordinator Team Lead to supervise insurance billing and collections, ensure deposits are collected, and guide a small team in daily operations.

This leadership role requires 2+ years of billing experience, knowledge of insurance guidelines (EOBs, ICD-9, CPT-4), and proficiency with Excel and medical software. Collaboration with Finance and Patient Services is essential.

Formación

• 2+ years experience in billing, auditing and collecting on third party claims and patient balances
• Working knowledge of all insurance types and guidelines, including ability to read and interpret EOBs
• Working knowledge of ICD-9s and CPT-4s

Responsabilidades

• Review doctor schedule daily to ensure financial consults for new and returning patients
• Manage patient through treatment plan to secure authorizations and deposits
• Answer billing questions and discuss financial policies with patients
• Maintain operations by following policies; review credit and insurance information
• Support Finance with daily and monthly closes
• Recruit, supervise and develop financial coordinator team
• Provide clear roles, set expectations, and monitor performance to meet company goals
• Maintain open internal communication and ensure accountability across the team
• Assist with difficult patient/insurance reimbursement issues
• Monitor phone coverage and timely call responses
• Assist management with workflow for new products/services
• Take on additional billing projects as assigned
• Collaborate with Patient Services and other departments
• Manage PTO requests and timesheets/payroll
• Coach, counsel, and evaluate team results to sustain performance
