Job summary

Vital Care Infusion Services is seeking a results-driven supervisor to manage reimbursement operations for patient referrals, benefits verification, authorizations, billing, and collections. Lead a team to meet KPIs while ensuring compliance and excellent customer service across franchise partners and patients.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, 3+ years in supervisory responsibilities, and familiarity with CareTend/RCM Portal.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent work experience preferred.
• 2-3 years of experience in an infusion setting.
• Minimum 3 years of supervisor experience.
• Knowledge of CareTend and the RCM Portal.
• Knowledge of Payer Compliance.

Responsibilities

• Supervise processing of new patient referrals, benefits verification, authorizations, billing, and collections.
• Schedule reimbursement staff to meet KPIs and adjust workload.
• Escalation point for franchise partner or patient complaints.
• Implement operating procedures for quality, compliance, and performance.
• Monitor results for quality and productivity; identify improvements.
• Collaborate with Payor/Benefit programs to resolve missing claims.
• Establish customer service standards and mentor staff in service and collections.
• Reconcile reimbursement checks with claims for some programs.
• Provide training and coaching; balance workload and schedules.
• Audit transactions for accuracy and escalate/re-submit as needed.
• Interview and onboard department associates; set performance metrics.
• Evaluate performance and maintain respectful employer relations.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
