Job summary

CenterWell Senior Primary Care is seeking a Medical Assistant to be the first contact for patient care. You will perform administrative and clinical tasks onsite, including vital signs, phlebotomy, immunizations, and documenting in EMR.

You will collaborate with physicians and APPs, and your duties adapt within policy with prioritization. The role requires MA credentials, TB screening, and high school diploma.

Qualifications

• Certified/Registered Medical Assistant credential required.
• Phlebotomy experience.
• Medication and vaccine administration experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Role involves TB screening as part of Humana program.

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical responsibilities including discussing symptoms, obtaining vitals, and administering medications and vaccines.
• Perform phlebotomy, collect specimens, and conduct diagnostic screening tests.
• Sterilize and clean equipment, maintain examination rooms, and document information in EMR.
• Collaborate with Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers.
• Deliver direct patient care within scope of certification.
• Follow area policy with defined parameters and prioritize tasks.
