Job summary

Conviva Senior Primary Care is seeking a Medical Assistant 2 to be the first point of contact for patient care, supporting both clinical and administrative tasks. You will work with physicians and staff to collect vitals, discuss symptoms, and assist with vaccines and phlebotomy.

The role requires a valid MA credential or equivalent experience, CPR certification, and adherence to TB screening requirements. The position is full-time, with typical hours Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of MA school/training program or a Certified/Registered Medical Assistant or 5+ years of experience and approval from Provider
• High school diploma or equivalent
• CPR Certified
• This role is considered patient facing and is part of the tuberculosis (TB) screening program.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient intake, discuss symptoms, obtain vital signs, administer medications and vaccines (if certified), perform phlebotomy, collect specimens and conduct diagnostic screenings.
• Prepare and maintain exam rooms, sterilize equipment and accurately document patient information in the EMR.
• Collaborate with physicians, APPs and clinical staff to deliver high-quality patient care and support efficient clinic operations.
