Job summary

CenterWell Senior Primary Care is seeking a Medical Assistant 2 to be the first contact for patient care, performing both administrative and clinical duties onsite. You will take vital signs, assist with meds and vaccines, and support physicians and APPs.

This role requires completion of MA school or certification, a high school diploma, CPR certification, and a patient-centered approach within a compliant care setting.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of MA school/training program or a Certified/Registered Medical Assistant or 5+ years of experience and approval from Provider
• High school diploma or equivalent
• CPR Certified

Responsibilities

• Discuss symptoms with patients, obtain vital signs and assist with medications and vaccines
• Perform phlebotomy, collect specimens and conduct diagnostic screening tests
• Sterilize and clean equipment, maintain examination rooms and document information in the EMR system
• Collaborate with Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers
• Deliver direct patient care within certification scope and policies
• Prioritize tasks within defined quality standards and timelines
• Follow standard procedures with some interpretation/deviation
