Job summary

CenterWell Senior Primary Care is seeking a Medical Assistant to be the first point of contact for patients. You will perform administrative tasks alongside clinical duties including vital signs, phlebotomy, vaccine administration, and specimen handling.

Ideal candidates have MA training or certification, CPR, and 1+ year MA experience. The role may involve TB screening and bilingual English/Spanish proficiency. 40 hours weekly with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have completed an MA training program or MA certification/registration or 5+ years experience with provider approval.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR certification required.
• Role is patient facing and TB screening required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as first contact for patient care and perform admin tasks.
• Obtain vital signs and document in the EMR system.
• Assist with phlebotomy, specimen collection and vaccines.
• Maintain exam rooms and sterilize equipment; support physicians and APPs.
