Job summary

CenterWell Senior Primary Care is seeking a Medical Assistant to be the first contact for patient care, performing both administrative and clinical duties onsite under supervision. You will collect vital signs, assist with vaccinations, perform phlebotomy, maintain clean exam rooms, and document in the EMR while collaborating with physicians and APPs.

The role requires Certified or Registered Medical Assistant credentials, CPR certification, and a high school diploma or equivalent; bilingual

Qualifications

• Certified or registered medical assistant credential required.
• CPR certification required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills preferred and subject to proficiency test.

Responsibilities

• Discuss symptoms, obtain vital signs, and administer medications and vaccines.
• Perform phlebotomy, collect specimens, and conduct diagnostic screening tests.
• Sterilize and clean equipment, maintain examination rooms, and document information in the EMR.
• Collaborate with physicians and advanced practice providers.
• Deliver direct patient care within scope of active certification.
• Follow policy interpretations with some prioritization/timing.
