Job summary

The-Perico-Group in Reading, MA is seeking a full-time Treatment Coordinator to be the main connection from first call to treatment completion, coordinating schedules, explaining plans and costs, and ensuring HIPAA-compliant patient interactions.

You will collaborate with the clinical team to maintain patient flow, present treatment options (periodontal, dental implant), and guide patients through financing while delivering compassionate care in a fast-paced dental specialty practice.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of customer service experience.
• Understanding of dental terminology.
• Periodontal, oral surgery, endodontic, or other dental specialty experience is beneficial.
• Experience discussing treatment costs, insurance benefits, and financial arrangements is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional service to patients and referring offices
• Maintain doctors’ schedules to ensure efficient use of their time
• Partner closely with the clinical team to ensure smooth patient flow
• Understand periodontal treatment recommendations and develop treatment plans from the doctor’s diagnosis
• Present periodontal and dental implant treatment plans, explain treatment costs, verify insurance information, and collect patient payments
• Coordinate communication with referring dental offices
• Maintain accurate patient records and HIPAA compliance
• Perform other duties as assigned
