Job summary

UI Health is seeking a Patient Experience Specialist to coach, educate, and consult across the organization to advance a culture of patient-centered care and service excellence. The role develops, coordinates, and implements patient experience training, development, and improvement initiatives in collaboration with clinical and non-clinical teams.

Qualifications

• Four years (48 months) of training and development experience or combinations of education/experience as described.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree may substitute for experience as outlined.
• Knowledge of patient satisfaction methodologies and healthcare quality improvement principles preferred.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates patient experience training programs for new and existing employees.
• Develops educational materials, facilitator guides, e-learning modules, and resources.
• Delivers educational sessions on patient experience standards and communication skills.
• Evaluates learning effectiveness and recommends improvements.
• Collaborates with Patient Experience Directors to implement strategies.
