Prism Vision Group's NJRetina location in Lawrenceville, NJ, is seeking a Patient Service Representative to handle inbound/outbound interactions, scheduling, and revenue cycle tasks. This onsite role may travel between locations as needed and offers a compensation range of $18–$31.89 per hour depending on experience.

The PSR will manage registrations, insurance verification, upfront financial counseling, and serve as a liaison to patients and staff while adhering to HIPAA policies.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in patient-facing healthcare or customer service preferred.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Excellent English communication and customer service skills.

Responsabilités

• Schedule and complete patient registrations and appointments per policies.
• Confirm demographic and insurance information; verify coverage.
• Verify insurance and benefits; obtain IDs and update charts.
• Explain appointment, records, parking, and payment policies to patients.
• Provide upfront financial counseling and payment options.
• Coordinate care as a liaison for patients, physicians, and staff.
• Notify teams about appointments, referrals, and authorization needs.
• Train other PSRs and maintain HIPAA compliance.
• Adhere to company policies and standards.
