Job summary

Root Center for Advanced Recovery in Bristol, CT is seeking a part-time Patient Service Representative for 25 hours weekly to deliver friendly, professional front-desk service. You will warmly greet patients, check them in, coordinate with staff, and support administrative tasks in a fast-paced clinic environment.

The role offers a starting rate of $20.00 per hour, comprehensive benefits, a 35-hour work week with no on-call duties, and eligibility for loan repayment programs.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED equivalency; three (3) years general secretarial experience; or a two-year business degree with one-year secretarial experience.
• Effective communication skills and ability to interact with patients.
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records and strong computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Answering telephone in a polite and timely manner and directing calls to the appropriate staff.
• Check-in duties: verify patient information and direct to staff; manage lab slips and urine tests as required.
• Administrative and billing duties including collecting fees and filing, and supporting staff with various clerical tasks.
• Daily reports, inventory management, and preparing end-of-day communications.
