Job summary

Select Medical in Colchester, CT is seeking a part-time Patient Service Specialist to greet patients, register them, and manage front-desk tasks at the outpatient physical therapy center. Work schedule is Wednesday and Friday 2pm–7pm, with compensation of $19–$20 per hour based on experience.

You will schedule appointments, handle patient check-out, coordinate with insurance providers, attorneys, and translation services, and perform co-pay collection and verification.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Front desk experience preferred.
• Healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and provide information about visits and next appointments.
• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone.
• Communicate with attorneys' offices, insurance companies, translation services, and internal teams.
• Collect co-pays, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance verifications.
