Job summary

VSP Vision is seeking a Patient Coordinator for a part-time role at the Antelope Mall Vision Center in Palmdale, CA. You’ll welcome patients, manage check-in/out, and help maintain smooth patient flow through the eye care experience.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of administrative experience, proficiency with MS Office, and strong communication skills to document patient information, handle inquiries, and coordinate appointments.

Qualifications

• One to two years of administrative experience with at least one year providing administrative support.
• Working knowledge of MS Office package.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and manage check-in and check-out to ensure a high level of patient satisfaction.
• Document patient information, update records, and collect payments.
• Answer and triage patient inquiries via telephone, email, and fax in a timely manner.
• Maintain organized patient records and confidentiality of files.
• Coordinate scheduling of patient appointments and prepare charts for scheduled patients.
• Perform administrative tasks such as assembling reports and releasing records.
• Keep a well-organized front desk and entry area.
• Participate in special projects and cross-train in other departments.
