Cayuga Health is hiring a Patient Service Representative for our Ithaca location. You will manage patient intake, verify demographics, and assist with consent forms in a fast-paced medical office setting.

Responsibilities include handling payments, triaging calls, and supporting admissions, discharges, and other clerical tasks to ensure smooth patient flow. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills essential.
• Meticulous attention to detail and professional demeanor required.
• Ability to work independently in a medical office environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite preferred.

Responsabilités

• Patient intake, greeting and check-in; verify/update patient demographics.
• Assist patients with completing consent forms.
• Receive and process cash and credit card payments for medical services.
• Initiate calls, pages, and triage phone calls.
• Assist in admissions, discharges, transfers and other clerical duties.
