Job summary

Sarasota Memorial Health Care System is seeking a front desk professional for the BJ Assessment & Diagnostic Clinic. You will handle patient scheduling, check-in/check-out, and follow-up activities, acting as liaison among physicians, patients, the facility, and insurers.

The role emphasizes confidentiality, accuracy in data entry, and professionalism. A Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 to 16:30 is expected, with a focus on service, quality and patient experience.

• Prefer knowledge of EHR/EMR.
• Prefer knowledge of medical terminology.
• Prefer MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access).
• Prefer professional appearance with strong oral and written communication.
• Prefer basic knowledge of third party payers.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient scheduling, check-in and checkout processes.
• Serve as liaison between physicians, patients, facility and insurance company.
• Handle collections at checkout in a compliant manner.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information.
• Demonstrate a positive attitude and align with the organization’s Mission, Vision and Values.
