St. Luke's Cataract & Laser Institute in Tarpon Springs, FL is seeking a full-time Patient Experience Coordinator for Reflections. You will welcome patients, manage scheduling, verify demographics/insurance, and collect payments to ensure smooth front desk operations.

The role requires coordinating with the clinical team, maintaining accurate records, and upholding HIPAA privacy and service standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a medical office, aesthetic practice, or high-end customer service environment preferred.
• Experience with EMR systems preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients promptly and professionally upon arrival.
• Check patients in and out accurately and efficiently.
• Verify and update patient demographics and insurance information.
• Collect payments in accordance with practice financial policies.
• Manage multi-line phone systems with clarity and professionalism.
• Schedule consultations, procedures, and follow-up appointments accurately.
• Support efficient patient flow throughout the day.
• Serve as a liaison between patients, clinical team, and surgeon.
• Respond to patient inquiries regarding services, appointments, and next steps.
• Provide clear instructions regarding documentation, preparation, and arrival times.
• Assist with coordination of surgical scheduling and calendar management.
• Escalate concerns or scheduling conflicts appropriately.
• Obtain medical clearance from outside provider offices to ensure patients are cleared for surgery.
